SPORTS: AKALAKA PROMOTION TO STAGE MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CAGE FIGHTS IN AJEGUNLE

– Tickets and table reservations up for grab as management countdown to fight day

Akalaka promotion in conjunction with management of Hon. Lukmon Sa’ad Olumoh multi-purpose sports arena at Awodi-Ora is organising Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) cage fights in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government.

The sporting event which is first of its kind in Ajegunle, and tagged  ‘Battle of the Hood’ is scheduled for Saturday April 26, 2025.

Speaking with one of the representatives of the Hon. Lukmon Sa’ad Olumoh multi-purpose sports arena Barrister Ahmed Musa, says the MMA cage fight is another sporting publicity for Ajegunle.

He said: “Ajegunle is synonymous with sporting activities,  and this will be another rich sporting experience that will entertain the good people of our local government.”

He noted further that the MMA cage fight will consolidate the sporting legacy of the council chairman at Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government Ayoola Fatai Adekunle.

“The unprecedented sporting legacies of the Ayoola’s administration deserves to be corroborated with high yield sporting event of this calibre,” he added.

Barrister Ahmed speaking further urged residents in Ajegunle to book their seats and purchase tickets for the MMA cage fight.

The venue is the basketball court at the Hon. Lukmon Sa’ad Olumoh multi-purpose sports arena at Awodi-Ora. And the cage fight commences at 5pm.
