- Ayoola, Ajidagba, others laud Kalejaiye, says federal lawmaker will not disappoint Ajegunle

It was showers of blessing yesterday inside the council secretariat of Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government, during the inauguration party of Hon. Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul.
The event afforded the federal lawmaker representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun federal constituency the to express his gratitude for the support from political members in Ajeromi-Ifelodun federal constituency during the last general elections.
He noted that his campaign commenced with God and that his new journey at the Federal House of Assembly has just begun with God.
On the benefit of the mandate to the people, Hon. Kalejaiye assured the gathering that he was not going to disrespect the people’s mandate given to him. He added that dividends of democracy will get to the masses, especially with programs that would be encompassing for the benefit of those in need.
While thanking artisans and other groups for his electoral success, Hon. Kalejaiye posited that it was not the vote of a particular tribe that ensured his victory, but instead the collaborative effort of all in the constituency which he described as a mini-Nigeria.
He urged those in attendance to continue in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that Nigeria had experienced ‘strategic’ improvement within the past few weeks of the president’s assumption in office.
On how his constituency office can serve the people better, Hon. Kalejaiye announced the names of legislative aides and their portfolios, adding that it was important for people in his constituent to understand the different offices they can channel their demands and observations.
On his part, Ayoola Fatai Adekunle while giving his opening remark said Ajeromi-Ifelodun federal constituency has demonstrated their love for the MHR despite the rain in torrents. He however assured the gathering that Hon. Kalejaiye will never disappoint his constituents.
Former council chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area Shuaib Fatai Ajidagba, said Hon. Kalejaiye will fulfill his electoral promises. He added that Hon. Kalejaiye should focus on the welfare of the people and ensure rapid infrastructural development in the constituency.
Goriola Taofeek vice-chairman AJIF LGA All Progressives Congress {APC}, said the federal lawmaker Hon. Kalejaiye is prepared for the legislative assignment in Abuja, and that he was certain that the man he described as an erudite scholar would bring the desired dividends of democracy to the constituent.
A former woman leader in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government, Mrs. Toyin Ogbeh wants the federal lawmaker to extend dividends of democracy through his office to different groups, especially youth, and women who contributed towards the success of the federal lawmaker’s election in Ajeromi-Ifelodun federal constituency.
Emphasizing on continuity of governance for Ajeromi-Ifelodun federal constituency, Kehinde Arogundade leader of the legislative council in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government, said the masses’ expectations for Hon. Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul is high, and that the federal lawmaker should continue from the projects of his predecessor Hon. Kolawole Taiwo in the constituency.
