Some elderly residents in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government, yesterday participated in the medical outreach organised by Prince Wake Oluwa, AJIF All Progressives Congress (APC), aspirants for the executive chairman poll in 2025.

Participants, who are women majorly, arrived at the venue in Local Authority Pry School, Onibaba, as early as 8 am.

The medical outreach which involved medical tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and body weight, included medical counseling and distribution of free drugs to participants based on medical experts’ prescriptions at the venue

Addressing a crowd of people numbering over 300, Prince Wale Oluwa said the medical outreach was initiated to support the efforts of Ayoola Fatai Adekunle executive chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government.

He thanked the women, and urged them to prioritize a healthy environment in their daily endeavors.

On the aspect of medical outreach for residents in the local government, Prince Oluwa noted that the health exercise serves as an opportunity for participants to get tested, seek consultations, and receive drugs that are of health importance to them.

“This is our way of complementing the efforts of Hon. Ayoola in the health sector,” he added.

He noted that if residents maintain proper hygiene will serve as one of the major discouraging factors in the spread of malaria, and typhoid.

He assured that his political brand; Vision 2025 would do more for the people in the coming days of the year’s second half.

Speaking at the event, His Royal Majesty Oba Moroof Oyekunle Amodu-Tijani Oluwa (Amore III) Olu of Iwa and Apapa kingdom, said it was important participants at the one-day medical outreach took personal hygiene seriously.

“People should be cautious of personal hygiene when they cook because cleanliness is next to Godliness,” he said.

He rounded off by commending Prince Wale Oluwa for initiating and complementing the efforts of the Ayoola Fatai Adekunle’s led administration in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government.

The bespectacled Royal Majesty Oba Oluwa, also used the medium to appeal to mothers to take care of their girl-child, adding that mothers played a major role in the lives of children.

Corroborating the position of His Royal Majesty Oba Oluwa, Chief Sam Adeyemi All Progressives Congress party chairman in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government, said participants must follow the words of advice by Oba Oluwa.

He thanked the organiser Prince Wale Oluwa, and wished the participants in the exercise.

Participants in the medical exercise reacted positively, as they expressed satisfaction with the medical exercise initiative.

Mr Ibe from Olodi commended the imitative, adding that the initiator was a good person who deserved to be followed.

Rofiat Owolabi prayed for Prince Wale Oluwa. She noted that the exercise was good for the health of residents and that the aspiration of the convener would surely be met.

Mr. Mathaus who sounded emotional said some of the drugs he received at the medical exercise would help towards reducing the pain from his ailment.

He promised to be available with his family and support the aspiration of Prince Wale Oluwa.

According to information gathered, the Prince Wale Oluwa’s Vision 2025 City Boy Project has promised to roll out life-enriching programs and projects for the benefit of residents in Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government, as the year continues to unfold.
