COUNT ME IN! – Wife of former Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mrs. Ikuforiji declares



WIFE OF FORMER SPEAKER, LAHA, Mrs. Ikuforiji has thrown her weight in support of the trendy social organisation, New Ajegunle, a social orientation group, that seek to rebrand and effect a change in the behavioural and economic advancement of all and sundry inside Ajegunle.

Mrs. Ikuforiji who doubles as Head of Administration (HOA) AJIF LGA, and Pastor made this declaration recently when she received the team of New Ajegunle led by Prince Ogaga wowo at her aesthetic office in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Secretariat, Wednesday May 16, 2018.

“I am excited to know that a movement as this is willing to change the narratives of youth activities in Ajegunle, count me in,” she said after listening to the mission of the group.

The Head of Civil Servants in AJIF LGA stated revealed that she abhorred her posting to Ajegunle in the first place, based on reports she has had, but she was determined to work anywhere she is posted.

“I am particular about drug abuse and juvenile delinquency in this part of the world, your presence shows hope and confidence for a new Ajegunle.” She said.

The beautiful light skinned and bespectacled Council top manager also assures the group of her readiness to speak on behalf of the group before the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ayoola anytime. She said: “I understand the pressure Chairman is going through from different interest groups, but rest assured I will persuade and convince him to attend to matters involving your project.”

Reacting to declaration made by Mrs. Ikuforiji, Convener of New Ajegunle, Ambassador Young Anyanwu expresses delight at the prospect of having the HOA accept the need to rebrand Ajegunle.

“Words alone cannot express how grateful we are, and we promise to update you in our drive to create a new Ajegunle.”

The Five-Man delegation later presented the HOA with a customized T-Shirt and Fez cap of New Ajegunle.

It is on record that organisers of New Ajegunle held a Press conference on Wednesday May 16, 2018, with the intention of announcing to the world plans of how Ajegunle will become the economic and tourist hub of the world by May 2026.

In a statement of New Ajegunle, that covers the group official Dream Statement, it reads thus: “By May 16, 2026, New Ajegunle will be the most developed and desired community in Africa to visit for tourism and diverse investment opportunities for her unprecedented landmarks, historical value, human capacity and dynamic educational system, driven by continuously evoving system and set of policies enabling equal access to opportunities for all her inhabitants.”
