• BOSCSG members and Yeye Oshun Oluwakemi Oshodi leads victory walk to Olowo-Eko’s palace for royal blessing

  • Radiant Okepopo Fanti team added glitz and glamour to Ijikenji victory walk for Sanwo-Olu

 

 

Residents of Okepopo community in Lagos-Island was a hive of political activities, as members of the community embarked on a victory walk for Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Congress {APC}, Sunday January 27, 2019.

 

The ‘victory walk’ for Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu by Okepopo Foundation in Lagos-Island was also described as fantastic by Mr. Taju Ekemode, Chairman BOSCSG.

He described the event as such while granting interview to journalists at the victory walk inside Lagos-Island.

 

He posited that this is the right time to vote Babajide Sanwo-Olu into power.

 

“I want Lagosians to know that this is the right time to vote Babajide Sanwo-Olu into power,” he said.

The event which was organized by Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu Campaign Support Group {Nigeria-Diaspora} was in conjunction with Okepopo Foundation in Lagos-Island and New Dawn Support Group for sanwo-olu which include Engineer Shaffy Bello as Chairman for Diaspora, Mr. Oye Ajanoku, secretary of Okepopo Foundation and Mr. Babatunde Lawal Adams, the Central Co-ordinator, Nigeria-Diaspora of the group.

 

 

The Okepopo Ijikenji victory walk commenced at Jakande Palace on 93, Okepopo Street and it included dignitaries such as Oloye Jakande, oloye ajanaku, the Araba of Lagos and Yeye Oshun Oluwakemi Oshodi as frontliners who led the group to other neighbouring streets where the victory walk was billed to pass through.

 

Residents of Tom Jones, Idungaran, Adeniji Adele, Sanwo-Olu’s family house at Omididun and Ajanaku’s palace caught a memorable glimpse of the victory walk that included entertainment from band boys and signature dance by Okepopo Fanti team.

 

The highlight of the day was the visit to the palace of Olowo-Eko, His Royal Majesty Oba Rilwan Akiolu.

 

The Royal Majesty commended members of BOSCSG  and the Okepopo Foundation led by Yeye Oshun, Oluwakemi Oshodi. According to the flambouyant Oba of Lagos, he said aside the door to door campaign, participants at the victory walk should get their Permanent Voters Card.

“I have my PVC, those of you who are yet to get should do so on time,” he said.

 

The victory walk also includes Mr. Babatunde Adeleke, Director General, New Dawn Support Group for Sanwo-Olu, Mrs. Ejide Durosinmi-Etti, an indigenous member of Okepopo community, Omoba Shamisideen Ojora, Councilor representing Ward D1, Epetedo and Okepopo community axis, Hon. Dawodu Abiodun Balqis {Finest} and Mr. Adebayo Sanwo-Olu among other dignitaries.
